Biante Have Saved the Best Till Last!

Date Posted:24 November 2016

Biante have made their final batch of new model announcements for 2016 and it’s a pretty exciting range of models that are now available to pre-order, they have definitely saved the best to last!

Kicking things off, Holden fans will be excited to see the 1:18 Scale VC HDT Commodore in Palais White. This is the first time this model has been offered in 1:18 Scale and it will be produced in die-cast with fully opening parts and high detail. It’s a model that we have had in development for quite a long time and we’re excited to finally announce it to the market. The prototype sample still has plenty of work to be performed before it’s production ready, but it’s shaping up to be a really great future release, so make sure you don’t miss it.

A model that’s a little more unique for collectors this month is the second edition in our Modern Historics Range where we apply iconic racing liveries to modern car body shapes. This edition is the 1996 AMP Bathurst 1000 Winner retrospective livery driven by Craig Lowndes and Greg Murphy which has been applied to a Holden VF Commodore Supercar model. After the popular feed back we received from the 1995 retrospective model we released last year, this should be a popular follow up for collectors who are after something a little different for their collections.

Sticking with the Holdens for the moment we also have two very exciting and iconic Holden Racing Team models to present in 1:18 Scale. They are the VN SS Group A driven by Win Percy and Allan Grice to take out second place in the 1991 Tooheys 1000 and a model for Craig Lowndes fans, the VT Commodore he drove at Oran Park in 1998 to clinch the Australian Touring Car Championship. Again, both models will be produced in die-cast with fully opening parts and high detail throughout. They’re both fantastic models of important historical cars so please get your orders in to ensure production quantities are met and that you don’t miss out.

Other Holden models we have to announce in 1:18 this month include the Holden Dealer Team LH Torana L34 driven by Colin Bond and John Harvey to finish as runner-up in the 1976 Hardie-Frodo 1000 and a modern racer in the form of the 2016 Preston Hire Racing VF Commodore driven by Lee Holdsworth.

For the Ford fans we have a new 1:18 Scale Ford XB Falcon John Goss Special that is a really interesting model. It’s a Mcleod Ford Horn Car edition in Emerald Fire over Polar White and it’s sure to be one that many Ford fans will be keen to add to their collections. Rounding out the new announcements for the year is a Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG model, the 1:18 Scale Plain Body Prototype featuring an amazing Chrome finish which is strictly limited to only 200 pieces.
