Heritage & Performance
The introduction of the “Red” motor marked a major leap forward. Available in 149ci (100hp) and 179ci (115hp) configurations, it offered substantial performance gains over its predecessor while requiring less maintenance. Although multiple driveline options were available, most Utilities were equipped with the reliable 149ci manual combination.
Designed for function over luxury, the Utility was offered in ‘Standard’ trim — purpose-built for the demands of daily work, with practical features and a rugged half-ton carrying capacity.
